Callwave's Internet Answering Machine
is an Internet Answering Machine (IAM) that will enable you to instantly hear
who's calling you (and will inform you of the message they left) while you are
surfing the Web. How it Works: When someone tries to call you while you're online,
a very small window on your screen will inform you that a call has come in.
If you had your speakers on you'll also hear a ringing sound. Next, the caller
will be notified that you are currently online and that they can leave a message
after the tone. IAM's small window will then tell you whether or not the person
left a message. If they did, you can simply click a button on
IAM's small window....and you'll be able to hear the message the caller left over
your computer speakers. There are currently over 16 million Internet users in the
US who can't get their phone calls when they go online. IAM solves this problem!
IAM downloads fast and is easy to install. It is available in the US ONLY and is
compatible with Windows 95, 98, and NT.
A few important points you may want to note:
- You will need "Call Forward on Busy" calling feature active to use Call Wave
You can receive this by calling one of our Retail Centers and requesting it
- There is a "Free" 30 day trial period after that there is a charge for the
Call Wave service
- Click on the link above to view the Call Wave site and their current plans
available
Pagoo
Pagoo is another online answering service.
When friends call while you're online, Pagoo "catches" the call just like an
answering machine. Seconds later you are notified, then you can playback the
voice message on your computer! No more missed calls. No more busy signals.
Know who's calling instantly! Includes caller ID, personal greetings, and unlimited
voice message length. Plus, there's no annoying ads anywhere.
Again the points you may want to note:
- You will need "Call Forward on Busy" calling feature active to use Pagoo also
You can receive this by calling one of our Retail Centers and requesting it
- Pagoo also has a "Free" 30 day trial period
- I found more information available at this site than the Call Wave, so
click the above image if you have questions about using this service
