Ragdolls have a very soft and silky coat that is non-matting and requires very little routine maintenance. An occasional brushing is all that is required.  This breed is slow to mature and do not reach their full color or size until 3 years.  They are born all white and then start to show their color and pattern in about 2 weeks.

Fully matured males weigh 15-20 lbs with the female about 5 lbs less. We strongly recommend they be kept indoors, as they are a non-aggressive breed with a laid-back personality.  They do not posses the normal fighting instincts of other breeds

Ragdolls are large, docile and affectionate.  They respond well to children and other pets.
