Well the 2nd season of the Perham Pigskin Picks has come to an end. I hope you all enjoyed playing again this year, and as previously stated please let our sponsors know so they will participate again for 2010.

Week 17 saw 4 players pick 14 of the 16 games correctly (Dan Meyer, Kevin O'Brien, Tamara Langen and Nick Anderson) Dan Meyer's 24 point prediction for the Tennessee vs. Seattle game was the only one not going over (Also the closest) so he gets the win for week 17.

In the season standings, Dan Meyer and Jeremy Kovash tied at the top with 199 correct picks out of 282 for the season. 1st tie-breaker is most weeks participating, both Dan and Jeremy played all 17 weeks so tie-breaker #2 is most times beating Dr Dan. Dan beat Dr Dan 12 times, while Jeremy only beat the Dr 10 times. Therefore, Dan gets the nod as the 2009 PPP Season Champion and the $125 in Perham Bucks. Jeremy gets 2nd place and $75 in Perham Bucks. Third place went to James Langen at 197 correct picks. So James gets the third place prize of $25 in Perham Bucks. Just missing the money in fourth place was Al Schornack at 196 and tied for fifth were Dennis Hirschey and Rick Breitenfeldt at 193.

The winner of the Beat Dr Dan contest was calculated as follows: Everyone's random number was added together giving a total of 5867. That was divided by the number of entries in the Beat Dr Dan pool 331. 331 goes into 5867 17 times with a remainder of 240. Entry number 240 belonged to Hans Larson from his week 10 beating of Dr Dan. So Hans Larson wins the $100 in Perham Bucks for the Beat Dr Dan contest.
